Banners and Shirts

Express the spirit and camaraderie of your team through your own team banner and team t-shirt. Entries will be judged throughout the day, and awards will be presented to the top three winners in both categories (T-shirt and banner). Since we are coordinating the theme of the competition with Ohio Valley University's competition and with the Lads-to-Leaders events, you can re-use your banners and T-shirts at those events!

Rules for T-shirts and banners

  1. All graphic design must be unique and original – use of copyrighted material is not allowed.
  2. Entries will be judged on the basis of creativity, use of theme(s) from scripture selected for the year's Bible Bowl competition, and aesthetic "impact."
  3. Banners can be up to 3' x 5' in size and should have grommets in the corners for mounting purposes. A lightweight stiffening rod can be sewn in or attached to the top and bottom of the banner to reduce "flagging" when hung. See below for banner supply resources.
  4. Banners must be submitted at the registration desk by 8:45 AM to be hung in the auditorium.
  5. Judging will be completed during lunch, and awards will be presented along with the rest of the Bible Bowl awards following the final round of competition.
  6. Teams are responsible for collecting their own banners at the conclusion of the event.
